Who can create their own channel in the Aitoplay streaming service?
– In theory, anyone can create a channel and become a content producer.
Can any video content be added to one’s personal channel?
– The channel owner must hold all copyrights to the publishing of the video content. No Restricted 18 material or material that is in breach of the Finnish law or violates the privacy of another person can be published on the platform.
What does it cost for the viewers to watch the channel?
– The channel owner or the content producer specifies a one-off or monthly fee for his or her channel, which the subscribers must pay to view the content of the channel.
How do I terminate my subscription?
– A subscription that is based on continuous monthly invoicing can be terminated without a notice period. Your right to view the channel will finish at the end of the ongoing month, together with invoicing.
How do I create a channel?

Register as a user
Start the use of the service by registering. Registration is a compulsory phase for all subscribers and content producers.
Remember to accept the terms of use and to tick the “I’m not a robot” box.
Fill in profile information
Once you have successfully registered an account, continue by adding a profile picture, social media links, and other requested information. Upload a profile picture by clicking on the button indicated in the picture.

Create a channel
If you are a content producer, you must first create a channel. Go to the main page of your account and start the creation of your own channel. Provide the requested information and give the channel an apt description.
Choose suitable categories and tags for the channel to make it easier for users to find your channel by filtering the search results.

Add programmes below the channel
Once you have created the channel, you can start creating content. This can consist, for example, of a series that contains videos on a certain topic, such as video marketing. Add an image and other information to give users a good understanding of the contents of the programme.

Next, you can add videos to the programmes. You can tick the “Free” box in the video upload view if you want users to be able to watch the video without a subscription.

Upload an open-source code encoding programme at https://handbrake.fr/
The programme can be used in the Windows or Mac environment, and the latest versions are also supported.
1. Open the programme
2. Drag the video into the programme
3. Select preset (General -> Fast 720p)
4. Give a name without using the characters Ä and Ö
5. Select where the file will be saved
6. Press Start
